This durable entry-level digital
camera allows you to snap photos, load them on your computer, edit
them, and then store or publish them. It’s an ideal starter
camera for children. Basic features include an automatic flash,
self-timer, and 2 resolution settings. It is defaulted to a
resolution of 640 x 480 which yields 8 photos, and at lower
resolution (320 x 240), 28 photos. In order to add more memory,
you’ll need to purchase a multimedia card (there is a slot for
one on the camera).
Its durability means you can feel confident
placing it in the hands of your 6 year old, which in turn helps
build confidence and pride in your child. Using the camera
requires paying attention to some important basic tips. For
example, there is a delay when shots are taken, so subjects should
stay still when pictures are snapped. This camera requires a 9V
battery. Both USB and serial cables, but USB is the preferred
method, as it is both easier and faster.
