Top
Pick. In this celebration of 35 years of music,
Super Grover is soaring over the Sesame Street neighborhood
and observing all kinds of music. He adopts a mission to
find one song that the whole world could sing
together.
Elmo and
Big Bird get involved in Grover's search, and, along the
way, little viewers are treated to clips of fantastic music
videos featuring a whole slew of celebrities--and muppets,
of course! Musical snippets include the “gospel
alphabet”, Queen Latifah singing about the letter "O", The Count on
vacation, and more. Guests include Nathan Lane, Ben Stiller,
The Dixie Chicks, Conan O'Brien, just to name a few.
In the
meantime, Oscar plays a song that Big Bird not only can’t
get out of his head, he can’t remember the name of the
tune! In the end, however, Big Bird's new quest leads the
whole gang back together again.
This
delightful musical extravaganza is fun for kids and adults
alike. The DVD comes in a unique board book package that
opens up and features lyrics to some of the DVD's songs.
Special features on the DVD include chaptering, a trivia
game, four classic Sesame Street shorts, and interviews with
the cast.
