 It's
a lazy afternoon, and while Mickey waits for his car to get fixed,
preschoolers get a chance to explore early learning activities in
and around the garage and diner. They learn about color mixing and
exercise early math skills as they pump gas for customers; they
enjoy some workbook-style activities found on the placemats of
Daisy's diner; and they squirt water at paint cans labeled with
the required numbers and letters.
Replay value is the big question with this one. Though graphics
are stunning, and learning activities are quite sound, none of the
activities stand out enough to make kids want to come back
repeatedly. The diner activities do not carry enough variety to
have much replay value either.
Pros:
- The games are relaxed
and educational.
- Graphics are excellent
- Activities are sound and
enjoyable
|
Cons:
- Difficulty levels cannot
be adjusted.
- Games may not have much
long-term appeal
