Our kid testers can't get enough of That's So Raven 2 for GBA.
They liked the first title, but they love this one.
Kids play as Raven herself, the charming lead of the That's So
Raven television show. Raven's ability to see glimpses of the future
("visions") gets her into all sorts of predicaments.
In That's So Raven 2, Raven is going to take part in a
fashion show, and she still needs to find fashion accessories. In
the meantime, her tickets to the show are stolen by a monkey, she
discovers that the manager of the show is up to no good, and that
pesky monkey has also scattered pieces of the contract all over the
concert venue.
In order to solve her many problems, she needs to throw pies at
people who are in her way (a huge hit with kid testers), collect
"vision pieces", find all ten pages of the contract, and more. Her
misadventures take her through the school, a zoo, a mall, a sci-fi
center, and a concert venue. On many levels of the game, Raven needs
to find costumes in order to advance. For example, she needs to find
a janitor's outfit that allows her to get past a security guard. She
adds items to her fashion portfolio by finding fashion coins that
are scattered throughout the game.
The difficulty level of the game seems to be just right for the
pre-teen crowd. There are three game-save slots so that 3 different
children can save their progress at once.
