Pick. Angelina borrows her mother's
precious silver locket without asking in the feature story of
Angelina Ballerina: The Silver Locket. This video/DVD is the
second title in the three-act Big Performance trilogy, an
inspirational series that offers little girls a how-to-kit for
staging their very own big performances.
The
feature episode in Angelina Ballerina: The
Silver Locket tells the story of Angelina's frantic
search for the locket she has lost, and includes 3 more all-new
episodes—Show and Tell, The Proposal, and Heads and
Tails.
This special release includes a locket as well
as an instructional poster that features Angelina demonstrating
five new dance steps. The ballet moves correspond with a live-action
segment on the DVD, entitled Little Stars, for a fun interactive experience. Bonus features
on the DVD include a read-along book entitled The Rose Fairy
Princess (this storybook can be read to the child or
without narration so that viewers can read by themselves),
mini-biographies of the Mouseland characters, as well as a couple of games kids
can play. The DVD offers two languages—English and
Spanish.
The
stories are interesting, with real-world dilemmas and
creative solutions. Of course, Angelina Ballerina is a
wonderful little role model—she's determined and
dynamic. The Big Performance series is a trilogy designed to
inspire little viewers to stage their very own performances. Act I
is Angelina Ballerina - The Magic of Dance,
which features a tiara on the package. The Silver Locket is
Act II, and Act III will be released in May 2005 and
entitled The Big Performance, featuring a pink tutu on-pack.

video and DVD feature high quality stories and
